This gallery contains paintings inspired by what one might encounter while strolling in a garden, though perhaps not an ordinary garden.  For example, on the way to the teahouse in a Japanese garden, you might encounter a bamboo gate, lantern, and water basin.  On a lucky day, you might also be aware of the spirits of the trees that have witnessed and contributed to nature’s cycles.
